This Privacy Policy explains how Packur ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit packur.com, create an account, request a quote, upload designs, approve proofs, order samples, place an order for custom food packaging, or contact us by email, form, WhatsApp, or other channels (the "Services").

1. Information we collect

Account information

When you register or sign in, we may collect:

• Email address;
• Display name (optional);
• Password (stored only as a salted hash — we never store plain-text passwords);
• If you use Google sign-in: your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile picture URL provided by Google.

Order and quote information

When you configure a quote, submit an inquiry, or check out, we may collect:

• Business or store name;
• Packaging configuration (product type, size, quantity, material, print finish, delivery option);
• Shipping city, postal code, country, and full shipping address when needed for checkout or delivery;
• Contact name, email, phone number, WhatsApp number, and delivery contact details;
• Uploaded logos, artwork, and brand text used in previews or production;
• Digital proofs, approval records, messages, quote totals, payment status, and order status.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. We receive transaction references and limited billing metadata from Stripe (such as payment status and amount). We do not store full credit or debit card numbers on our servers.

Technical and usage information

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process standard server logs, including IP address, browser type, referring URL, and timestamps. We use session storage to keep you signed in and to protect sign-in flows (for example, OAuth state tokens).

Where enabled, we may use analytics, advertising, and measurement tools to understand site performance, improve our Services, measure marketing campaigns, and show relevant ads. These tools may process device identifiers, cookie identifiers, pages viewed, approximate location, referral source, and interaction events.

2. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide quotes, proofs, order confirmations, and customer support;
• Process payments through Stripe or other available payment methods;
• Arrange samples, production, customs clearance, and door-to-door shipping;
• Review artwork, prepare digital proofs, and coordinate production specifications;
• Improve the Site, prevent fraud, and maintain security;
• Send service messages about quotes, proofs, orders, delivery, and policy updates;
• Send marketing emails or messages where permitted by law and your preferences;
• Measure advertising performance and improve marketing campaigns;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms and Conditions.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Site — for example Cloudflare (hosting and security), Stripe (payments), Google (sign-in, address autocomplete, analytics, or advertising, when used), email and messaging providers, and analytics or marketing platforms;
• Production and logistics partners as needed to manufacture and deliver your order (typically limited to shipping details, production specifications, and order details needed to fulfill the order);
• Authorities when required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising or analytics activities may be considered "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under certain privacy laws. Where required, you may have the right to opt out.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies and server-side sessions to authenticate you, keep you signed in, protect the Site, remember preferences, and process checkout. These are necessary for account and order features.

We retain account, quote, proof, order, payment, production, and delivery information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, handle refunds or quality claims, prevent fraud, and meet legal, tax, customs, accounting, or compliance requirements. Inquiry data may be stored for up to twelve (12) months unless a longer period is needed for an active order, customer relationship, or legal obligation.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures such as HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, object to certain processing, limit use, or opt out of certain data sharing or targeted advertising. You can stop using the Site at any time. You may also disconnect Google sign-in from your Google account settings; note that this may limit your ability to sign in with Google on our Site. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us.

We serve customers worldwide. Information may be processed in countries or regions other than your own, including China and locations where our service providers, production partners, logistics partners, or payment providers operate. We take steps designed to protect your information in line with this Policy.

The Services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
